- Los proyectos seleccionados abarcan una amplia gama de sectores pertinentes para descarbonizar diferentes sectores de la industria y la energía en Europa.
El Grado de Química de la Universitat Jaume I, el Colegio Oficial de Químicos y la Asociación de Químicos de la Comunitat Valenciana han organizado, con motivo de la festividad de San Alberto Magno, patrón de los químicos y químicas, una conferencia sobre la producción y usos del hidrógeno verde, impartida por la ingeniera de procesos de la refinería de bp España en Castellón, Itziar Ezpeleta Canós.
La actividad ha contado con la presencia de alumnado del Grado en Química y profesorado del mismo, como el catedrático de Química Inorgánica Vicente Esteve, quien también es delegado del Colegio y la Asociación de Químicos; Mario Llusar, titular de Química Inorgánica y vicedirector de la ESTCE como responsable del Grado en Química; así como Pablo Serna, vocal de la junta directiva del Colegio de Químicos de la Comunitat Valenciana.
Durante la conferencia, Ezpeleta ha explicado las distintas posibilidades de obtención de hidrógeno en la industria y ha mostrado las tecnologías ya en marcha como las emergentes, así como las aplicaciones actuales y las posibles aplicaciones futuras. El acto ha contado con gran afluencia de público interesado en el tema de la charla y en la posibilidad de establecer acciones de cooperación científico-técnica.
